Making that list was HARD. Thanks to Dani for the wonderful idea.
Dear future self,
I hope you look back on this birthday as one where you were truly happy. Not wishing to be at a different place in life. Loving who you were with and what you were doing...every single day of it. A time when you were content and felt like you had reached a place of peace and joy with the life you had up until this point. That everything finally came together. I hope you basked in it. I hope you enjoyed the sunshine. And I wish you many more birthdays and years like this. Keep shooting for your dreams, but don't forget to stop and love the life you've lived. Now go out and do something that you wouldn't normally do, like buy absurdly large balloons, just for the fun of it - it's totally worth it, I promise.
Sincerely,
Present self
Happy Birthday marvelous girl!!
ReplyDeletethank you!!! hugs!
DeleteOmg, I know how hard it is to make that list!! And it doesn't look like a lot, but it totally is!! I hope you get your sofa cleaned. :-) Wish you lived in my area, there is someone here who does an awesome job. I can totally help out with some of these - especially 1, 17, and 23. :-) Hope you have the happiest birthday this year and many more!!
ReplyDeleteomg...i should totally just do it - the sofa cleaning, and take it as a business expense since I sit and work on it every. freaking. day. and yes, when i see you in a few weeks, we should discuss 1, 17, and 23! i can use all of the help i can get (1 is going to be easy to cross off...we're doing the color run in may...except god knows i'll be the weird girl running with a camera, but i'd love to do more than one 5k).
